History

A ring of five was cast by Joseph Smith in 1723, the gift of the Lord of the Manor, Edward Leigh. These bells were recast into a ring of six by James Barwell in 1908 and hung in a new cast iron H-frame on one level. All the bells swing north-south, have metal headstock and were cast without canons. They were rehung on ball bearings in 1971.
