Resources
In Spring 2025 we hope to launch a new ringing centre based in The Hub, Lichfield (formerly St Mary's). The eight bells will be gradually restored and the smaller bells will be used for training purposes. Follow this project here.
Recruitment
The Association of Ringing Teachers has a lot of good resources for planning a successful recruitment campaign. Follow this link to see more.
The Lichfield Diocesan Mobile Belfry is a mobile ring of six small bells hung on a trailer and capable of being towed to almost any venue. For details click here.

Odd Struckness meter
The Society has purchased an Odd Struckness Meter which is available to loan to any tower. It accurately measures any unevenness in the striking of a bell and enables you to make small, measurable adjustments to achieve a perfectly evenly struck ring of bells. Contact the Secretary to arrange to borrow this really useful piece of kit.
Society Peals
The Society has rung nearly 6000 peals. The late William J Hall (right) created and maintained a database of these performances until his untimely death in 2004 at the age of 44. The peals are listed here.
The Society holds a large amount of archive material, mainly stored in the Stafford Record Office. The details are listed here.
